Rowing Scull Manufacture

All boats are manufactured in Perth, Western Australia using polyethylene foam, sandwiched between two layers of solid polyethylene, making them not only virtually indestructible and unsinkable, but also stiff and light. The polyethylene foam is closed cell, making it completely waterproof and perfect for boat construction.

The oven used to manufacture the boats is purpose built and rocks and rolls, while the mould rotates to facilitate the even spread of powder and foam at very high temperatures.

This construction method is far more sophisticated than the single skin polyethylene products found around the world and provides the strength, lightness and safety required for marine products.
